Finger Input Interface

This project aims to create an input device capable of sensing subtle finger interaction and user identity. Human finger surfaces are rough and have a unique fingerprint. Swiping on a textured surface produces vibration patterns. Our device detects the vibration patterns and classifies the finger input gestures and user identity. This technique will be used to implement a personal input device supporting input on daily life surfaces.
